Intensive English Language Programme
The main language of instruction in the Life School Education Concept is English. However the students enter the school with varying degrees of fluency in the English language. To enable all students to take part in lessons, Life School provides an Intensive English Programme at three levels
When students reach the Intensive English Advanced, they move into Regular English together with mother-tongue speakers. Normally a student with no prior knowledge of English will progress to mother-tongue level in English in three terms. German Language German is also taught at various levels:
The aim of this programme is to suit students’ abilities and backgrounds. Non-native speakers of German advance one level each year. They join the German native-speaker level after three years. Native German speakers follow a curriculum that reflects the German Gymnasium. In grades 11 and 12, native German speakers are prepared for the International Baccalaureate Diploma. |
